Our facilities cover nearly one million square feet, of which some 600.000 square feet are dedicated to manufacturing on two separate sites.

We employ the latest technology encompassing, not one but three, Desma 24 station Double Density Rubber direct injection machines, one Desma 24 station Double Density PU direct injection machine and three Desma 30 station direct injection machines with PU / PU, PU / TPU, and PU / RUBBER capability.

These are complemented by state of the art cutting, sewing, and lasting machinery supported by 3D computerised design and in-house laboratory facilities for all materials and products, including GORE-TEX® testing.

Our accredited in-house laboratory allows us to test all raw materials as well as finished adn semi - finished products. We support this in an ISO 9001:2000 environment and membership of SATRA to audit and certify our products. Investment in a Lectra three dimensional footwear solution for shoe design enables our experienced R&D staff to rapidly design develop new products. This ensures that our customers benefit from consistently high quality performance products.

GORE - TEX®

Goliath are licensed to sell and distribute GORE-TEX® products. These are manufactured in - house using the highest quality leathers and materials. They are continuously tested using patented production techniques to ensure waterproofness and breathability.

We have invested extensively in 5 alternative sole moulding processes from DESMA - Germany. We can offer single density vulcanised rubber (DV) and double density injected rubber (DDR) soles and double density polyurethane (PU) with the option of a rubber or thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) wear layer all direct injected to the footwear.

We operate 3 alternative lasting processes: conventional flat lasting, Strobel- type force lasting and Goodyear welt lasting which gives us the the flexibility to meet most requirements.

Our investment in CAD/CAM material cutting and computerised stitching enables us to stay at the leading edge of technology and superiority.
